The Fortnite Season 9 Overtime Challenges and Rewards have been made available for players to complete them.
Thursday, August 1st will mark the end of Fortnite Season 9 and a also at the same time mark the start of season 10. Epic has introduced overtime challenges in the past two seasons during the final week of the season. Instead of 10 weeks, season 7 was 12 weeks long, which is why Epic decided to create overtime challenges. 20 challenges were available for season 7 while season 8 had just half the challenges as the season was 10 weeks long.
The overtime challenges for season 9 got leaked before time by dataminers from the v.9.40 patch update. This is how we got to know that there would be a total of 20 overtime challenges in season 9. The challenges are already available live in-game with all the rewards. This includes three styles for three of the skins that are obtained from the season 9 Battle Pass.
Below you can find the Fortnite season 9 ovetime challenges that are available at the moment alongside the rewards you will receive after completing each challenge.
Fortnite Season 9 Overtime Challenges
The following are the overtime challenges that have been unblocked:
- Reach Battle Pass Tier 23
- Reach Battle Pass Tier 71
- Reach Battle Pass Tier 87
- Work together with friends to get eliminations (25)
- Damage opponents with Shotguns (2,500)
- Visit Loot Lake, Polar Peak and Pressure Plant (3)
Fortnite Season 9 Overtime Challenge Rewards
Most of the Overtime Challenge Rewards are XP rewards along with some loading screens. But upon reaching tier 23,71, and 87 and completing certain number of Overtime Challenges, Gamers will be rewarded with new skin styles shown below:
All players have until the end of the season, that is, August 1st to complete all challenges. Few overtime Challenges will be released by Epic every now and then. So stay updated.
